Androniki Oikonomaki

Androniki Oikonomaki is Research Fellow at the Centre for the Greek Language, Thessaloniki. She has co-authored (with Y. Z. Tzifopoulos) an introductory book on Greek Epigraphy (Εισαγωγή στην ελληνική επιγραφική. Από τον 8ο αιώνα π.Χ. ως την ύστερη αρχαιότητα), and she is currently working on a monograph on local alphabets in Archaic and Classical Crete. She has written on Greek epigraphy and ancient literacy, and is preparing the publication of inscriptions from North Pieria, Macedonia. She has also contributed to Wiley Blackwell’s Encyclopedia of Ancient History.
