Georgios Podaropoulos

Georgios Podaropoulos is a Research Master’s student in Literary Studies at Leiden University, holding a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation. Previously, he studied Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (BA) and at the Université libre de Bruxelles (Erasmus+). His research interests include literary theory, comparative literature, and cultural analysis. During his fellowship at the CHS in collaboration with the International Olympic Academy, he will work on the poetics of perspective in the victory odes, focusing on the agency of perspective and the visualization of the athletic body.
