objects from Palaiologos

The Early Cycladic “Harpist” (NAM 3908); the Late Geometric “Dipylon Oinochoe” (NAM 192) with one of the earliest alphabetic Greek inscriptions in dactylic hexameter; and a large Late Geometric amphora (NAM 804) – all purchased from Ioannis Palaiologos, with the last two objects originating from his excavations at the Outer Kerameikos (near Plateia Koumoundourou in downtown Athens).
